Here’s what you do….
First of all, browse catalogue pages to see if there are any carrier/s you’d particularly like to try. You can then reserve a carrier directly through our catalogue page, which you can collect (by appointment) at our Sydenham, Crystal Palace or Lewisham venues.
If you need help choosing what to borrow, want to be shown how to use the carrier you’d like to try out, or don’t know where to start; we’re always able to make suitable personalised suggestions for you. You can come to one of our “Drop In Sessions” or book a Workshop or Private Consultation.
You can collect and return pre-arranged carrier hires to the following venues, at the following days/times.
Sydenham: The Tea & Cake Club Postnatal Group, Thursday’s, 10am-12pm. (Starting 19th Sept)
Lewisham: Collect by appointment, Return at anytime via parcel box outside door (SE13 5JE)
Crystal Palace: Monday’s 10.30am-1pm. Barnardo’s Triangle, 2 Coxwell Rd, SE19 3BG
Hire Period & Fee’s
The minimum hire period is 2 weeks, with hire costs from £5-£15. Deposits are not charged in advance but, you must have a debit/credit card to hire & your card will be charged the replacement value of the carrier if it is damaged/lost/not returned. You are welcome to remove your card from our system once you have returned your carrier. Please ensure you have fully read & understood our Terms & Conditions before requesting a sling/carrier hire. Maximum hire period is 3 months.
You are welcome to extend the hire period on your carrier by e-mailing us (firstname.lastname@example.org). Costs of extension fee’s, late fee’s & further details can be found in our Term’s & Conditions.
If you need more help choosing what to borrow, want to be shown how to use the carrier you’d like to try out, or don’t know where to start; we’re always able to make suitable personalised suggestions for you if you come along to any of our drop in sessions or workshops, or book a Private Consultation.
While you have the carrier, PLEASE DO contact us by email to ask any questions that you may have about what you’ve hired or to try to troubleshoot any problems with using it. We’d much rather iron out any issues while you’ve got the carrier, not after you’ve brought it back! Most of all, try to get as much use out of the carrier as possible so that you get the hang of it and can see how it’d fit into your lifestyle!
When your loan period is at an end, please return the carrier and any accessories by whatever date and method has been agreed.
