Whether you are considering carrying your first baby, or you’re a seasoned slinger, we would love to see you at our monthly Mummy’s Gin Fund Sling Meet.
Held at Rhubarb & Custard Cafe, 17 Burnt Ash Road, Leegate Shopping Centre, Lee, SE12 8RG, this sling meet will be stuffed full of slings to try, new friends to meet and fantastic cake from the cafe. (Dates listed below.)
The Sling Meet is completely FREE (£2 voluntary donation for MGF’s #nomumleftbehind anti-loneliness mission) for anyone who would like to try on slings, meet other sling wearing parents and just enjoy the great coffee on offer. For those who would like professional advice, we are delighted to welcome two wonderfully knowledgeable sling consultants – Sarah from South London Sling Library and Sonia from Wear My Baby Greenwich who will be on hand for 1-2-1 consultations. These will be 20 minute personalised sessions, costing just £10.
There are only six 1-2-1 consultation slots available which will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
Helen from MGF says “Carrying your baby in a sling is a wonderful way to enjoy extra cuddles, keep your baby warm and safe and help to calm an angsty newborn. It was a lifesaver for me and my refluxy babies, especially when they had a cold or were just angry about life! Slings are brilliant for public transport and the school run – anywhere with stairs or if you live in a 6th floor flat. They are also a very addictive way of filling your home full of gorgeous fabrics!”
Come along and find out more – with absolutely no obligation to buy anything – or just come for a chat (did I mention the excellent coffee and cakes?)
