Our Spring Sling Show 2012!

Saturday 24th March; I was up at the crack of dawn using my childhood skills at Tetris to cram a rather silly amount of the Sling Library into my fairly small car. Slings, carriers, demo dolls, mirrors, displays and myself all finally loaded (just!) I drove up to the Spring Sling Show venue near Kings Cross getting more and more excited, and I wasn’t disappointed 😀

The Show was fantastic – so many lovely parents, both experienced sling professionals (from all over the country) and more local sling users. I was constantly busy meeting and helping people, though did get a chance buy raffle tickets and won the Sling Library another Connecta Baby Carrier! I also picked up a prize of a ByEthicals Baby Onbag, a gorgeously snuggly pair of Bamboo baby leg warmers and the Sling Library’s new Melkaj Baby and Toddler Mei Tais (plus a couple of gorgeous new woven wraps for me) – no wonder my bags really did feel even heavier on the way back home!

I’d like to give HUGE thanks to the organisers from Mama Natura, and to all the stall holders and volunteers who made it such a fantastic day out. I can’t wait for the next one! 😀
