Spring Sling Show 2012!

After the success of the International Babywearing Week London event in October last year, Becky from Mama Natura is delighted to be organising a new London sling event; the Spring Sling Show on Saturday 24th March from 11am-3pm at the Somers Town Community Centre near Kings Cross.

And once again, Emily from the South London Sling Library is proud to be hosting our very own stall there!  We’ll be bringing along a good selection of the Library carriers and slings to demonstrate and hire out, plus we’ll have loads of information about slings on display for you to read and experienced sling users on hand to help you with any of your sling and baby carrier questions.  If we’re really lucky we’ll have Maggie from the Greenwich and Lewisham Sling Library there with her new baby to demonstrate newborn carries!

Want to find out which carrier could be best for you to buy for a new baby? Or how a wraparound carrier really works? Or where to find good quality second hand slings? Need help with making the most out of an existing carrier or sling? We’ll do our best to help with all of these questions and more!

And there’ll be lots more too…. new and second hand sling stalls, teas, cakes, activities for toddlers and an amazing raffle with loads of fantastic sling-related prizes.

Ask Emily from the the Sling Library for a flyer (at any of the upcoming open sessions or slings meets) and we’ll look forward to seeing you on the 24th! 😀
